en·de·ra·sé (Amharic): “as myself.” The person you trust to act on your behalf, with full authority and full accountability. In Ethiopian tradition, an enderassey does not merely represent you; he stands in your place and answers for the outcome. That is the standard this practice is named for, and held to.
The principal

Wondwossen spent 17 years inside the operations he now examines, learning the work from the transaction up rather than the framework down.
Sixteen of those years were at Symetra Life Insurance. He managed the life claims unit, where fraud is not a slide in a deck but a file on a desk. He owned SOX-compliant control processes as a process owner. He served as a project manager and systems analyst inside the same operations, which is why his control designs survive contact with the systems that have to run them. And he built the company's operational risk management and fraud prevention programs from the ground up.
He then spent a year as VP, Data Risk Management at MUFG Union Bank through the U.S. Bank acquisition, one of the largest bank integrations in recent U.S. history, performing independent review and challenge across seven enterprise GRC system conversions.
As one of ten members of the LIMRA/LOMA Financial Crimes Council, he helped advance FraudShare, the industry's fraud intelligence platform, from a promising idea to the standard adopted across life and retirement services.

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Status can be confirmed directly through the ACFE. Formal verification of employment history is provided on request to organizations evaluating an engagement.

Practitioner, not vendor
RSA Archer, IBM OpenPages, and ServiceNow, used as a practitioner inside live risk programs and through enterprise conversions. Enderassey holds no vendor partnerships and takes no referral fees, which is what independent means when it appears on this site.

How the practice works
Three commitments, in writing.
The principal does the work. No leverage model, no junior staff learning on your engagement. The person you meet in the first conversation is the person who performs the assessment and signs the findings.
Fixed scope, fixed fee, stated first. Every engagement is scoped and priced in writing before work begins. If the scope changes, the fee conversation happens before the work does.
